Job Description:

Research Analyst

Collect financial data using websites, databases and other sources.

Create and maintain industry databases.

Build and update financial models on various companies.

Analyse the financial performance of companies in detail, with guidance from senior colleagues.

Provide in-depth research on industry groups (pharmaceuticals, banking, real estate, telecom, retail, technology, etc.,) and specific companies.

Prepare qualitative and quantitative research reports, including industry reports, initiation of coverage reports, due diligence reviews, quarterly earning updates, etc., for clients.

Apply different valuation techniques such as DCF, relative valuations, sum of parts to value companies.

Learn and follow research-process best practices for a broad range of research products.

Perform both basic and complex tasks with a high degree of accuracy, within quick turnaround time.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Equity, Credit Research Analyst

Chartered Accountants with 0 to 3 years experience or an understanding in international equity or credit research. Should have exposure in Bloomberg, Thomson Financials, or Data Stream with experience in quantitative and qualitative research on market valuations, peer grouping, multipliers, financial modelling and financial templating. This position shall report to Associate or as directed.
